Sama Geon, who achieved the unification of the Tongcheon Demonic Cult for the first time in 300 years, has only one wish: to live an ordinary life with his family. Returning to his hometown, he learns butchery and starts a business. However, his younger sister’s illness forces a blade back into Sama Geon’s hand, and the Tongcheon Demonic Cult threatens his doorstep. For the sake of peace, he must now take up the sword once again! This is a Korean murim (martial arts) story that follows a classic “retired master forced back into action” trope. The protagonist has reached the pinnacle of the demonic martial arts world by unifying a major cult after 300 years of division—a monumental achievement. Despite this power and status, his true desire is simple domesticity with his family.
